Post wrinkle reducing

Do not massage the treatment area for 24 hours. This ensures the product remains in the location where it was precisely placed to achieve the best effect.

Do not lie down for 4 hours post treatment - this particularly relates to not lying on your face (i.e., attending a massage) where your facial muscles are compressed or altered from their normal resting position as this may alter the effect of the product placement.

Do not touch the injection sites for 12 hours immediately following treatment - this reduces the risk of infection transmitted from hands.

Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours post treatment - this relates to bleeding and bruising and minimising the risk of product interaction.

Do not do strenuous exercise for 24 hours - this relates to product placement, reducing infection and reducing bruising and bleeding due to increased blood pressure and heart rate when exercising.

Do not use a sauna or spa for 24 hours - this relates to infection control as well as bleeding and bruising reduction.

Please note it can take up to 14 days for the full effect of the treatment to take place - the majority of patients will notice a minor change in the strength of their muscles after 3 days, however the maximum effect occurs at 14 days and during this time there may be muscle asymmetry which is normal.

Post volume replacement, skin boosting or removing

Do not use Retinols/Vitamin C therapies or oil-based makeup for 24 hours - this relates to reducing the risk of infection and skin trauma.

Avoid pressure on treated areas for the first few days’ post treatment. If possible, sleep on your back - this relates to product being placed in precise locations to achieve the desired cosmetic outcome.

Avoid facials, facial waxing, Glycolic or AHA peels, IPL or energy-based treatments and microdermabrasion for two weeks after treatment - this relates to skin trauma and reducing the risk of infection and interaction with product.

Do not massage the treated area unless instructed by your registered nurse - this relates to the precise placement of the product as well as reducing the risk of infection through transmission from hands.

If a small lump occurs after filler treatment you can massage area gently or discuss this with Kanvasd clinic who will advise accordingly.

Gently apply a cool pack to the treatment area unless advised against by your treating nurse.

After a HydraFacial treatment, your skin may feel warm or appear flushed, due to the cleansing and exfoliating process. This should subside within 24 hours.

Please do not apply toners, astringents or aloe vera to the treated area.

You can return to your normal routine immediately post treatment.

Avoid exposure to the sun for 48hours post treatment

Daily sunscreen is essential to wear post treatment

Gently cleanse your skin using a mild cleanser for the next 48 hours

Avoid sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 12 hours post treatment

Please drink plenty of water post treatment. If you experience skin irritation, we recommend the application of a Cooling Face Mask or Redless Serum available for purchase in clinic. We do not advise the use of sunscreen immediately after the procedure, please stay out of the sun.
